Introduction

Welcome again to my original Diablo site. As you may have noticed, this site has undergone a major renovation in appearance..back are the colors and images. It was time for a change. Evolve or die. I wanted a streamlined, professional look, but I also wanted a page that reflected my subject: Diablo gaming. The contents of this site will remain the same as will the philosophy which is that this site was created for ALL Diablo players, regardless of gameplay discipline. I feel I have something here for everyone.

While the contents of this site can be and are sometimes used for cheating, I know that many other people use the items here for backing up their characters, protecting their characters or making their Battle.net experience more enjoyable. Cheating by and large doesn't bother me as long as you don't come into my game and ruin it for me. On the same token, if you cheat, you should do so responsibly and take into consideration those players you may be affecting.  Defining cheating is impossible since its relative to what one believes it to be and to what others believe it to be. Some feel that using anything such as a trainer, .dat file, DiabloSaver etc. is cheating. Others think you can use all of these things as long as you dont have an unfair advantage in the game over the other players. No one is wrong. Again, its all relative. See my "Cheaters and Cheating" page here on this site for more information.

If you are a legit or pure player, tolerance and understanding of other gameplay styles is recommended. I play legit. You have to realize that not everyone will want to play the game the way you or I do. They also have the right to play it the way they want to just as you and I do. No one has the right to shame, belittle, admonish, insult, abuse etc., those players they feel are not playing the game in the way  it was *meant* to be played. The whole point of playing Diablo is to have fun. If you play public games, simply naming the game "Legit or Pure players only" is not a reasonable expectation that your request will be respected. As long as it is a public game, you may be subjected to the actions of whoever enters. The obvious solution to avoiding cheaters, PKs, idiots etc., is to play private, password protected games. Sometimes this isnt an option and you are "forced" to play in a public game. When this is the case, tolerance is advised.

Playing on Battle.net can be a great experience if you go there with an open mind and understand that there are thousands of players on there at any one time. You will find others that play as you do. Take the time to meet people and don't be discouraged when you find cheaters, PKs and idiots. Battle.net is a community and every community has its "undesirables". Only you can decide who you find undesirable so don't let public opinion make the decision for you.

Thanks go to all my online friends, battle companions and you, the visitors. Without you, this site would cease to grow.

Extra Special thanks go to everyone at alt.games.diablo for their support and kind words over the time it has taken me to fill this site. Thanks also goes to my wife, Karen for help with some of the more infuriating aspects of page development. You guys are the best.

Now, on with the fun......
